'Sportspy Extra'. My brother was up visiting from Aylesbury last weekend so to make himself useful I sent him out on Commonedge Road to capture the action with his camera. Quality photographs from a number of the games played.
Unfortunately he missed Terry Green's infamous 5th penalty for The Clarence – who else would attempt to chip the goalie from 12 yards?

Sportspy Reports – March 19th 2006
Action from Commonedge Road as West Coast Tackle Postal FC took on Partner Marketing FC in the last eight of this seasonGo back to bed.
Due to the snowfall all the games scheduled for this morning in the Blackpool & Fylde Sunday Football Alliance have officially been called off.

It's official ! Everybody except the over-stressed fixtures secretary can have the day off. It seemed as though it was destined for the two Gledhill semi finals not to be played this morning. When next week's fixtures/re-arranged Cup ties are finally sorted out I'll post all the changes on the site. Please check back after 6:30pm.
Enjoy your Sunday !

No Gledhill Cup ties today. (The things I do for this website)

Manager of the Month – February 2006.
The unofficial fyldesport.com manager of the month awards for February 2006.

Snow across the Fylde Coast.
Overnight snow places weekend fixtures in doubt.

Prebonds – Saturday am – March 4th 2006.

With a covering of snow across the Fylde along with a forecast of an overnight freeze for tonight we may be heading for a number of postponements. However, at the time of writing all games are still ON. If I hear anything definitive I'll post it on the site.
Update : Sunday 07:30, What a difference a day makes. Although most local football was wiped out yesterday Sunday looks to be a fine day with no frost and no snow so….GAME ON !

Clearing the runways.
