After numerous postponements and venue changes the first of the Gledhill Cup Semi Finals between Reform Health Club FC and Poulton SFC was finally played at Commonedge Road this morning.

Both these sides have reached the semi finals of the Gledhill Cup for the second year running. Last season I firstly watched SFC Poulton go behind to Red Rose Catering before coming back strongly to beat them 5-1. That performance saw them through to the final where they were eventually beaten 2-0 by Quilligans FC. The week after it was a lot closer as I watched The Reform Health Club eventually lose 2-0 to eventual winners Quilligans. Garrick put Quilligans 1-0 up but Reform were in it right up until the death when they finally succumbed to a Stuart Diggle effort from close range.
