Division 1 leaders Sanctuary FC took on rivals Reform Health Club FC. But who is the Reform player trying to remove Lee Conway's shorts?

The Reform's Mark Hayes in agony after a nasty looking knee injury just before half time but he recovered for the second period.

Sanctuary enjoyed the best of the play in the first half and scored with the help of a deflection off Reform player/manager Dean Whitehouse.  Reform came back well in the second half but couldn't force the equaliser.  Sanctuary taking four points from the two league games between the sides.

Reform's second half Japanese substitute Takemoito Suzuki.

In the battle of the carpet clubs Floorline Direct hosted Terry's Carpets FC in Division 3B.

This fella was struggling to keep it down late in the second half.  Bad pint last night ?  The spectator in the background wasn't helping him feel any better as he sucked on his second can of lager of the morning.

It was a good game this one.  At half time the scores were level at 0-0. Not long into the second half Floorline stunned in-form Terrys with two quick goals. Terry's pulled one back with about fifteen minutes remaining but Floorline hung on to take the points in probably one of their best performances of the season.

Terrys Carpet's prolific striker Jason Nuttall, resplendent with piercing, on the losing team today.

At Blackpool Mechanics ground Fluid Edge FC (Blue shirts) hosted Layton Institute in the Division 1 league clash. Fluid's Brett Baker (far left) with his second hat-trick of the season.

Paul 'Smudger' Smith (right) of Fluid Edge with another fine performance today. Fluid Edge went 1-0 up through Rab Moore and went on to win the game 4-2.  Layton's poor run continues.

In the Prem, leaders Quilligans FC were away at the Bloomfield WMC.  Another easy win for the whites.  In the above picture  Quilligan's player Bracewell appeals for a penalty after being dumped on his ass by Andy Gouck but referee Mr Gear was unmoved.

Quill's Lee Broadbent on the scoresheet again today. He should be in a good mood so ask him for a discount at his clothing shop, Locks, next to Yates' tomorrow!

In 3B leaders the Subway were strong favourites in their home game against Anchorsholme Park Rangers but it turned out to be far more difficult than expected.  The APR keeper clears upfield.

The Subway equalised to make it 3-3 in the dying seconds leaving the APR players temporarily devastated but on reflection this was a good result for them that may kick start a better second half to the season. Wes Renshaw (right) scored again.

The Shovels FC did their promotion chances no harm at all  today with a 7-0 (or was it 6?) win over Fluid Edge Reserves.  Fluid, with their third manager of the season, are struggling for form.  The Shovels and the Subway meet next week on the same ground.

In 3A it was the Swift Hound FC (Stripes) versus MA2 FC.

The MA2 manager was complaining of selection problems today when having to play his striker in goals but taking nothing away from Swift Hound, they played well and eventually ran out 5-4 winners.
