Division 1 side Blackhurst Budd FC caused a major upset in the Lancashire Sunday Trophy as they knocked out top Blackburn side and current holders Mill Hill FC on their own pitch to reach the semi final. Well done to them. In the Gledhill Cup quarter final, another Division 1 side in the shape of Sportsworld Media FC fought back from 2-0 down to beat Premier Division side Molloys FC 3-2. They'll be joined in the semi finals by Division 2 side Northern Rags FC who beat the Bispham Hotel 2-1. In a much delayed third round tie, Bathroom Solutions beat Frenchman's Cove 4-3. In the Division 2/3 Cup Devonshire Arms beat Marshall Court 4-1. Division 4 Cup action saw Score FC, Pump & Truncheon and Victoria all progress through to the next round. One game in Division 1 saw CTK and WTC Chris Allen Garages draw 2-2. In Division 2 Mereside went fourth after winning 3-2 against No4 Celtic FC. Marton Institute looked to have regained some form as they beat Xceptional Kitchens 3-2 and at Boundary Park, Uncle Tom's Cabin and Station Tavern played out a 6-6 draw. Normoss Newton top Division 3 tonight following a comfortable win against Metrostars. Clifton Rangers and Wesham finished at 1-1. In Division 4, Walkabout's 3-2 win against H&A Social left them fourth whilst Dutton Arms are a place behind in fifth aftet they beat DH Gas 3-1. Finally, Marton beat bottom side JJ Property Services 4-2.

Not much time today due to junior football. When I left this match, Molloys looked as thoughthey'd go on and win it but football is a strange game and Sportsworld came back to win 3-2 and reach the semi finals of the Gledhill Cup – well done to them and the team. It's also notable that the club went all through 2012 unbeaten.
Can't believe that Marton Athletic, a team full of Blackpool and Blackburn fans are turning out in a Burnley kit thanks to manager Pashley's Claret connections
