The G Casino Blackpool & Fylde Sunday Alliance Report 22 April 2012

In the Premier Division of the G Casino Blackpool & Fylde Sunday Alliance champions Sanuk FC dented Parkside FC hopes of runners up spot when defeating them 2-0 with Michael Clark and Paul Dickinson scoring. Poulton SFC who are third need to win 3 of their 4 remaining games to secure second place after beating Great Eccleston 4-1 with goals from Richard Bryan Chris Morris Gary Pett and Daniel Whittaker and Shaun Taylor replying. Matt Clarke retired as Spindles manager after six years with a 6-3 victory over Chris Allen Garages with Scott Park (2) Mark Cottam Joe Bell Daniel Heathcote and Neil Dugdale on target and manager Daryl Prance and Martin Brennan (2) netting for Chris Allen. A hat trick from Richard Horrocks helped Bloomfield Vets. to a 5-2 win against Newton Arms. Christ The King beat Fleetwood Gym 3-1 with a pair from Craig Davies and a Ryan Chatterjee strike.

Blackpool Catholic Club need two points from their remaining two games to be crowned Division One champions after winning 3-2 against Wrea Green with David Cram scoring twice and Martin Ogier. Tangerine Tavern secured a top three place after defeating Golden Eagle 5-0. Brun Grove enjoyed a rare victory against Northern Care Colts with Mark Truby (2) and Marlon Bradley their scorers in the 3-0 win. Bathroom Solutions overcame Highfield Social 4-0 with Jordan Black Jack Errington Martin Smith and Coner McGough on their score sheet. 

Division Two champions 21stt Century Windows surprisingly lost 5-1 to AFC Wilo. Goals from Karl Holmes and Jason Jewitt earned Burn Naze a 2-1 victory over CTK. FC Rangers defeated Hansom Cab 3-1 with Chris Scollen Nathan Fairnie and Nathan Lydon thier marksmen and Phillip Csesznyak replying.

In a thrilling battle for runners up position in Division Three Mere Park were behind four times against Kingsfield before winning 5-4 in the last five minutes of the game. Lee Ferguson bagged a hat trick for Mere Park assisted by Scott Grimes and David McNichol while Shane Hull scored three times and Chris Edge once for Kingsfield.

Blue Room replaced Thatched House at the top of Division Four after beating them 3-2 with a Stuart Bunn double and a Stuart Diggle goal and Simon Annetts and Paul Parker replying. Thatched House have to win their last remaining game to secure the title. FC Newton claimed third place after the 5-0 success over Excellent UK with doubles from Ross Ainsworth and Ryan Dodd and an Adam Wilson strike. Fylde Coast Vets. enjoyed an 8-2 win against Stanley Arms with their top scorer Danny Horner grabbing five Phil Dilworth one and rare goal contributions from Colin Earnshaw and Stuart Todd.
