The G Casino Blackpool & Fylde Sunday Alliance Report 11 March 2012

In the G Casino Blackpool & Fylde Sunday Alliance Premier Division leaders Sanuk FC got back to winning ways by defeating a young Great Eccleston side 3-1 inspired by two headed goals from captain Phil Thompson and a Jordan Spedding penalty. It was second placed Gardeners Arms turn to waver this week losing 5-1 to Poulton SFC with Lee Catlow bagging four goals. Terence Fearns scored all Newton Arms goals in the 4-2 victory over AFC Additions. Henry Wright`s strike earned FC Loco a 1-0 win against Spindles.

At the top of Division One Village Steel lost their third game on the bounce going down 3-1 to Northern Care Colts with Paul Eddleston Mark Robinson and Lewis Cook netting. Golden Eagle strengthened their top spot with the 3-0 defeat of Uncle Toms Cabin with a pair from Craig Frankland. Tower Lounge dropped points in the 2-2 draw against The County with Nick Devereaux and Greg Peel their scorers and Rick Seear replying twice. A Nathan Cook double clinched a 2-1 victory For Wrea Green over Highfield Social. Bathroom Solutions beat C & G Electrical 7-2 with a Michael Evans hat trick and a Lee Conway pair topping their scorers. 

21st Century Windows are clear leaders of Division Two after Paul Gaskell scored the only goal of the game with challengers Burn Naze. Second placed Blackpool Lane Ends were held 2-2 by CTK with Paul Smith and Craig Worrall their marksmen and Paul Bell and Chris Cairns replying for CTK. Boars Head are still chasing honours after goals from Lee O`Neill (2) and Dean Walsh earned them a 3-1 win over Hansom Cab.

With the leaders of Division Three not playing second placed Number Four Celtic lost ground in the 4-2 defeat by in form Marshall Court with Jack Broadbent netting twice. Strikes from Chris Casson and Ben Flitcroft secured a 2-1 success for Kingsfield against Lane Ends. Mere Park went third after the 4-1 win over Old England with Lee Ferguson Scott Grimes Jacob Peake and Joseph Howarth on target. Teamsport 90 keep in touch after the 7-2 defeat of Marton Athletic with John Hopkins netting twice.

Division Four toppers Blue Room hammered bottom side DS Rovers 10-1 with trebles from Stephen Twist and Darren Elwell . FC Newton were surprisingly beaten 5-3 by Berrys Beds with Kevin Everton grabbing four goals. Soul Suite defeated Victoria Hospital 3-2 with Joshua Davis (2) and Lee Morrison on target and Luke Smith replying twice. Stanley Arms enjoyed a 4-1 win over Excellent UK with Daniel Edmonds Jack Pope John Harrison and Adam Salisbury on their score sheet. 

In the Bierkeller Premier/Division One Cup Mythop Leisure went through to the semi finals after beating Brun Grove 4-3 with Chris Hibbert scoring twice.
