The G Casino Blackpool & Fylde Sunday Alliance enjoyed an almost full programme with only three games falling victims of the weather.
In an exciting Gledhill Trophy match Gardeners Arms went through to the semi finals when winning 4-2 on penalties against Blackpool Catholic Club after the teams finished level at 4-4. Danny Betmead netted twice for the winners whilst David Cram scored both goals for Catholic. In the other tie Division One Northern Catholic Colts knocked out Premier side Mythop Leisure 4-1 with Jordan Casey Gavin Hughes Alan O`Loughlin and Steve Palmer on target.
In the Bierkeller Premier/Division One Cup Christ the King eliminated Golden Eagle 3-1 with a pair from Lewis Battersby.
A Thomas Hatton double secured a 2-1 victory for 21st Century Windows over FC Rangers in the Bierkeller Division Two/Three Cup. Stuart Stockell scored the only goal of the game to take Marshall Court through against Teamsport 90. Goals from Mitchell Horton and Martyn Percival clinched a 2-0 win for Blackpool Lane Ends over Metrostars. CTK and Burn Naze enjoyed comfortable wins against Blue Spot Knee Clinic (4-0) and Mere Park (5-0).
At the top of the Premier League Sanuk FC extended their lead to nine points after defeating Newton Arms 4-2 with David Mendonca (2) Michael Clark and Jordan Spedding the marksmen. Goals from Matt Howard and Scott Park earned Spindles a 2-0 victory over Additions. Fleetwood Gym trounced WCT Chris Allen Garages 12-0 with Liam Forrest netting four and Stuart Parkinson Dean Richards and Kevin Thompson all scoring twice. A treble from Philip Ball and a David Ball pair helped Great Eccleston to a 6-1 win against FC Loco.
Village Steel went top of Division One after hammering C & G Electrical 8-0. With games in hand Tower Lounge maintained their title challenge with the 4-1 defeat of Bathroom Solutions. The County beat Brun Grove 7-3 with Mark Thornber`s three goals and a Rick Seear double leading their scorers.
Boars Head lost ground at the top of Division Two after losing 4-1 to Clifton Arms whose goals came from Matty Grime Philip Passmore Harry Roberts and James Roberts.
Division Three leaders Xceptional Kitchens defeated challengers Number Four Celtic 6-1 with Tyrone Melling grabbing a hat trick. Kingsfield keep the pressure on Kitchens following the 9-1 defeat of Old England with a Chris Casson treble and doubles from Ben Heatley and Lee Watts.
Thatched House extended their lead at the head of Division Four after beating Stanley Arms 4-0 with Matt Gowen Chris Matthews Gareth Nuttall and Paul Parker on their scoresheet. A hat trick from Wes Collins secured a 3-2 success for third placed Blue Room over DH Gas. Fylde Coast Vets. recovered from a 2-0 deficit against a young Excellent Uk to win 4-2 with Scott Buchanan (2) Darren Clarke (penalty) and Derek Mulhall the scorers.
