Results – Sunday December 11th 2011

Courtesy of the BFSFA committee, here are the few provisional results from today's weather affected programme of Sunday Football action. Only three games survived.  The fixtures for next week (Last programme before Christmas) are now on-line. If in doubt please contact Dennis Peters on 391055. The tables, fixtures and results have now been updated. (Also includes pictures from Commonedge Road, Blackpool).

Only three matches survived the wet weather as heavy morning rain made most surfaces across the Fylde unplayable.  In the Division 2/3 Cup, Xceptional Kitchens FC overcame the Squirrel FC 5-4.  In the Division 4 Cup, the Thatched FC eased into the next Round following a comfortable 5-0 win against FC Newton.  In Division 1, The County beat Tangerine Tavern FC 5-1.

The rare sight of standing water at Commonedge Road.  Only one game survived this morning at the venue and it wasn't this one.  A disappointed DS Rovers FC hung around for a kickabout.
