Results – Sunday November 27th 2011

Courtesy of the BFSFA committee, here are all of the provisional results from today's programme of Sunday Football action. The fixtures for next week are now on-line and see the start of this season's Divisional Cup competitions. If in doubt please contact Dennis Peters on 391055. Teamsport 90 FC make it through the Quarter Finals of the Gledhill Cup.  They'll be joined by Poulton SFC as the 4th Round finally gets completed.  Sanuk FC make it eleven wins from eleven in the Prem but the Gardeners Arms FC are still in the chase.  Golden Eagle FC win away at Blackpool Motor Works FC to go top of Division 1.  Village Steel FC go second after a great win against Northern Care Colts FC.  The Sun Inn FC shock Blackpoolo Lane Ends FC in Division 2 as bottom beat top.  21st Century Windows win away at Hansom Cab to put pressure on the leaders.  Xceptional Kitchens FC top Division 3 tonight after beating Marshall Court 3-2 whilst Number Four Celtic FC and Mere Park FC draw 4-4.  Blue Room FC win 4-1 away at a windy Commonedge against DS Rovers whilst Soul Suite FC took revenge on FC Newton followinmg their 2-1 win at Moor Park.

Top met second in Division 1 as Blackpool Motor Works FC took on second placed Golden Eagle FC (Yellow and black) at a 'sheltered' Squires Gate FC.  A great late save from the Golden Eagle FC keeper helped secure a massive three points for the Eagle in a 2-1 away win.

It looked like a dramatic late equaliser from Chris Nay but the camera, as did referee Taylor spotted the 'Hand of Sod'.

Still time for another chance but the Eagle keeper pulled off a great flying save

Game over, a hugely entertaining game in the wind and it finished 2-1 to Golden Eagle FC who go top of the table in Division 1 tonight.
