Three matches postponed in the Lancashire Sunday Trophy and AFC Wilo were unlucky to lose 3-2 away in Wigan at Golborne Park House FC.  There were good wins for Great Eccleston and Gardeners FC in the race for second place in the Prem and FC Loco took all three points with a great away win at Bloomfield Vets FC.  Golden Eagle FC go second in Division 1 after an important win at home to Bathroom Solutions FC and after a slow start Blackpool Catholic Club FC came strong to win 8-0 away at Highfield Social FC.  As Blackpool Lane Ends FC were held to a 1-1 draw away at Travel Village FC the Boars Head FC closed the gap thanks to a 4-0 win against FC Rangers.  The top three are beginning to open up something of a gap at the top of Division 3 after Xceptional Kitchens FC, Number Four Celtic FC and FC Kingsfield all won this morning.  FC Newton took all three points in an entertaining Division 4 fixture against Soul Suite FC and the Blue Room FC won yet again to make things extremely interesting at the top of the table.

A dipping, swerving free kick by DH Gas FC flies over the head of the Excellent FC (UK) keeper in Division 4.

FC Newton versus Soul Suite FC (Orange) in the Division 4 game of the day

The Soul Suite FC management team

A busy game today for referee Peter Sutton

McNuggets for breakfast – that's good dunkin' with long pink nails

Any excuse……it was the other leg but neither party were complaining

A goal for DH Gas FC against Excellent (UK) FC

Drama!  A nailed on penalty wasn't given initially as referee Sutton allowed the advantage that came to nothing… he rewound and gave the pen – Soul Suite FC not happy

FC Newton send the keeper the wrong way to go 1-0 up

Great work by the DS Rovers FC secretary behind the goal

Comedian Dave Neal……….'just like that'

Dodgy keeping but he got away with it

The Soul Suite FC wall

In the far distance, and despite two close range stops from the keeper, FC Loco concede to Bloomfield Vets FC.  Stopper Goldberg is distraught as is skipper Joel Chappell

Great effort by DH Gas FC that flew across the goal

Excellent (UK) FC manager happy with the display

A good punch by Monty

Mickey Evans in full flow

McGarry in the book….there's a first

Well done lads but they knew they were in a game

More drama…92 minute and DS Rovers FC break towards the box 4-3 down, the keeper attempts a clearance but it hit the player far right and rebounded agonisingly in a looping shot that found the top corner…4-4 and deserved point for DS Rovers FC

The Stanley are gutted

DS Rovers FC are ecstatic

Sorry but I'm very proud of my pukin' pumpkin – Happy Halloween!
