Quilligans FC win the BFSFA Premier League

Quilligans FC (pictured) retain the BFSFA Premier League title with a 5-0 victory over FC Loco.

A top video (unless you're a Real Burlington fan).  Tower Lounge FC are 3-2 up against the Burlies.  There's not long to go and things are getting a little feisty as Burlington search for an equaliser.  Then Tower Lounge are awarded a free kick on the edge of the box.  Up stepped Chris Preece – Pick that one out!

In Cup action, the Tower Lounge and Teamsport (On pens) both progress in the Division 2 and 3 Cup.  In the Premier Division, Devonshire Arms are still in with a chance of the runners-up spot, whilst Newton Arms secured their second victory of the campaign.

In Division 1 Golden Eagle remain in the drop zone as Fleetwood Gym edge closer to the Premier Division.  Bloomfield Vets get a surprise drubbing courtesy of Great Eccleston.  Mythop Leisure gain a good win over Highbury Vets, and Shovels and Additions play out a draw.  Arguably the game of the day in the Division ended with Christ The King overtaking their rivals Spindles in a nine goal thriller.  West Coast Tackle kept up the pressure on Fleetwood Gym with three points versus Uncle Toms.

In Division 2, C& G thrashed Layton, Tangerine Tavern and Northern Care Colts further improved their chances of promotion with victories against CTK FC and Blackpool Catholic Club respectively, whilst Fleetwood Kings disposed of bottom side Travel Village 3-1.

In Division 3 the Boars Head further increased their title credentials with a win over St.Annes, and FC Kingsfield beat bottom side Blue Room.  FC Rangers could only manage a point against Mere Park in their quest to catch the top two, whilst Wilo secured an excellent victory over fourth placed AFC Bloomfield.

In Division 4 the Stable Bar picked up a victory over DH Gas stealing a march over the No1 Club who had no game – one more point required for the title.  Philharmonic and Cuban Allstars played out a draw, and Metrostars had a narrow win over Choices Furniture.  The Sun Inn hammered Lane Ends Reserves 7-0 and finally, the Clifton Arms and Xceptional Kitchens game which had no fewer than eleven goals in it, saw Xceptional come away with the spoils.
