Quilligans maintained their lead at the top of the Premier Division of the G Casino Blackpool & Fylde Sunday Alliance after defeating Fylde Coast Gates 3-1 with a Jordan Spedding pair and an Anthony Pearson goal. Second placed Gardeners Arms won 5-3 against Newton Arms.
Division one leaders Fleetwood Gym struggled to beat Great Eccleston with Liam Forrest scoring the only goal of the game. In the meeting of the Vets. sides Highbury game out on top against the inconsistent second placed Bloomfield with Dave Moran scoring twice. Christ the King kept up their challenge after the 5-1 win over Highfield Social with Stephen Chantler netting twice. Spindles dropped points after being held 1-1 by the improving Uncle Toms Cabin with Lee Matthews and Jason Nuttall on target. West Coast Tackle strikers shared seven goals in the 8-1 victory over Shovels with Rick Seear grabbing four and Zack Williams three.
Northern Care Colts kept top spot in Division two after the 3-2 success against Blackpool Catholic Club with Carl Faber scoring twice. No. 4 Rangers defeated Wrea Green 4-2 to stay second while Bloomfield Hotel are still in contention after beating Fleetwood Kings 5-4. Dockers had a good 6-0 win against Layton Institute with an Adam Heaney hat trick and a pair from Daniel Horner. A John Whittle treble helped Grand Designs to a 6-1 victory over Travel Village.
Blackpool Lane Ends went joint top of Division three after a Daniel Garth double gave them a 2-0 win over Wilo. Lane Ends defeated Blue Room 7-0 with a Nathan Sheliker hat trick and pairs from Ashley Baines and Marcus Turnbull. Old England drew 4-4 with St. Annes with doubles from Anthony Harper and Keiran Harrison and David Ramsden scoring two for St. Annes. In another high scoring game Teamsport 90 defeated Mere Park 5-4 with a treble from Conner Cooper and a Richard Blampied pair with Rick Fisher replying twice. A last minute goal from Sam Truesdale gave ten man Marshall Court Sandpiper a 3-2 win over No. 4 Celtic with the other goals from Jack Broadbent(2) and Craig Simpson.
No.1 Club extended the lead at the top of Division four after beating challengers Stable Bar with Danny Cowell`s goals clinching a 2-0 victory. Blackpool Catholic Colts won 4-2 against Lane Ends Res. with David Duffy scoring twice. With games in hand The Sun Inn are still looking for honours after the 6-0 win over Waterloo Pub with Paul Gaskell and Mark Yates both netting twice. Richard Eaves scored all CBFC Choice Furniture`s goals in the 3-2 success against Waterloo Hotspurs. Philharmonic enjoyed a 3-2 victory over Metrostars with Phil Palfrey(2) and Maciek Lomasko on the score sheet. Ashley Casey`s four goals topped Clifton Arms scorers in the 7-1 defeat of Fylde Coast Vets. A Jamie McKenzie hat trick helped Xceptional Kitchens to a 6-3 win against Cuban All Stars.
