The G Casino Blackpool & Fylde Sunday Alliance Report 13 February 2011

Quilligans went joint top of the Premier Division when Gardeners Arms dropped points after being held 3-3 by FC Loco whose goals were scored by Matthew Parr(2) and Anthony Melton. Mark Beattie scored the only goal of the game as Quilligans beat Devonshire Arms. Poulton SFC hammered FC Eden 16-0 with Carl Eastwood`s six goals topping their scorers.

In the Premier/Division 1 Cup doubles from Jordan Cobb and Marco Cobb took Newton Arms into the last eight after the 5-0 defeat of Mythop Leisure. They are joined by Spindles who won 1-0 against Golden Eagle.

Fleetwood Gym climbed to the top of Division 1 following the 7-0 win over Highfield Social with Robbie Boal and Dean Richards both netting twice. AFC Additions lost top place after the shock defeat by West Coast Tackle. In an enthralling game West Coast were trailing 5-1 at half time after scoring in the first minute but their ace striker Rick Seear came on at the break to score a hat trick to level the score 5-5 before his team went on to win 8-6 with Zack Williams and Adrian Reed both netting twice. A Tarren Moxon hat trick and a Michael Sharrock pair secured a 6-3 win for The County over Great Eccleston.

In the Division2/3 Cup AFC Bloomfield defeated Fleetwood Kings 7-2 with Phillipson Peltier and Andrew Scott both scoring trebles. Boars Head hopes of a league and cup double ended when they lost 7-2 to Bloomfield Hotel after being level 2-2 with 15 minutes remaining. Barry Davenport and Daniel MacDonald both netted twice for the winners. A Scott McCabe goal clinched a 1-0 success for Tower Lounge against leaders Northern Care Colts. FC Kingsfield went through 1-0 with a Mark Lees goal against Lane Ends.

No. 4 Rangers lead Division 2 after beating Travel Village 4-1 with Leonard Clark Chris Topham Ben Price and Adam Walsh on target. Grand Designs good run continued with the 3-2 defeat of Squirrel with Kevin Everton Ryan Farmer and Tony Whittle on their score sheet.

In the Division 4 Cup leaders No. 1 Club surprisingly lost 6-2 to Clifton Arms with Tony Burke`s double leading their scorers. Goals from Lee Harris and Mark Sinnett gave Stable Bar a 2-0 victory over Lane Ends Res. Metrostars needed extra time to beat Fylde Coast Vets 4-1. In the league Blackpool Catholic Colts defeated Waterloo Hotspurs 2-1 with strikes from Jason Jewitt and Daniel Duffy.
