The G Casino Blackpool & Fylde Sunday Alliance Report 09 January 2011 

The G Casino Blackpool & Fylde Sunday Alliance resumed after the mid winter break with cup games dominating the fixtures.

Quilligans secured their semi final place in the Gledhill Trophy by defeating Mythop Leisure 3-0 with a Lee Broadbent double and an Anthony Pearson goal. In the other tie a second half hat trick from John Beavers saw Fleetwood Gym knock out Bloomfield Vets. 5-1.

In the Premier and Division 1 Cup Fylde Coast Gates beat Highbury Vets. 6-2 with Zack McGuirk`s two goals leading their scorers. Great Eccleston won 4-0 against Highfield Social with pairs from Daniel Ball and Nathan Whiteside.

Division 3 leaders Boars Head surprised Division 2 high flyers No. 4 Rangers by defeating them 5-2 with doubles from Craig Harding and Lee O`Neill. Teamsport 90 beat Grand Designs 3-2 with Conner Cooper scoring twice. Hansom Cab won 3-2 against Squirrel with Dacre Wroe (2) and Paul Snellgrove on target. Ashiana were the other team to defeat a Division 2 side after a 7-2 victory over CTK with Phillipson Peltier scoring a hat trick. Tower Lounge romped home 12-3 against Marshall Court Sandpiper with Tony Swallow netting five and Jack Broadbent scoring all his side`s goals. Lee Crook`s four goals helped Fleetwood Kings to an 8-0 win over Blue Room. In a high scoring game Dockers overcame Wilo 6-5 with Adam Heaney`s two goals heading their scorers. 

Clifton Arms won 4-3 against Xceptional Kitchens in the Division 4 Cup with Tony Burke striking twice. Lane Ends Reserves beat Cuban All Stars by the same score with James Craven netting twice and Josh Evans getting a hat trick for the losers.

In the Premier Division a solitary goal from Anton Byrne-Carter gave leaders Gardeners Arms victory over challengers FC Loco. A hat trick from Chris Cairns clinched a 3-2 success for Blackpool Rangers against FC Eden.

Bottom side in Division 1 Uncle Toms Cabin drew 3-3 with second placed AFC Additions with Jason Nuttall scoring all their goals. 

Northern Care Colts went joint top of Division 2 after beating Layton Institute 5-2 with doubles from Jake Turner and Jordan Casey. A Gavin Barnett goal gave C & G Electrical a half time lead but two goals from Stephen Bonser gave Blackpool Catholic Club a 3-1 victory.

In Division 4 Stable Bar trounced Fylde Coast Vets 9-0 with a Mark Sinnett hat trick and a Brett Nixon pair. Doubles from Damian Dinsmore and Adam Love gave Philharmonic a 4-2 win over D H Gas.

In the Lancashire Cup Poulton SFC went though to the semi finals after thrashing Preston side Ingol Rangers 5-0 with Lee Catlow(2) Darren Hall Adam Shorrock and an own goal on the score sheet.
