 The G Casino Blackpool & Fylde Sunday Alliance Report 7 November 2010
 
Spindles from division 1 of the G Casino Blackpool & Fylde Sunday Alliance provided the shock result in the Gledhill Cup by knocking out Premier leaders Gardeners Arms. They fought back from two goals down to take the game to extra time and a 4-3 win with Kyle McAdams (2) Joe Bell and Neil Dugdale their marksmen. Holders Poulton SFC romped home 7-0 against Blackpool Catholic Club with Darren Hall`s double leading the scorers. Bloomfield Vets got back to winning ways by beating FC Eden 3-1 with Richard Horrocks netting twice. Ben Moss`s hat trick helped Pulcinella`s to a 4-1 victory over The Sun Inn. Real Burlington came back from a 3-0 deficit to level against Mythop Leisure before losing 5-3. Wrea Green had a good 6-1 success over Christ The King thanks to a Nathan Cook treble.

In division 1 Shovels moved to second after defeating Great Eccleston 7-3 with Andrew Barrow getting a hat trick. The County and West Coast Tackle finished level 1-1 with Scott Waters and Adrian Reid on target. West Coast welcomed back from injury last years Alliance top goal scorer Rick Seear. Golden Eagle and Additions shared the points in the 5-5 draw with Sam Bannister and Stuart Pratt scoring hat tricks for their sides.

Leaders of division 2 No. 4 Rangers dropped points when held 2-2 by Squirrel with goals from Chris Truby and Adam Walsh cancelling out Adam Silver`s pair for Squirrel. Bloomfield Hotel climbed to third after winning 5-1 against Layton Institute with Daryl Hall`s double topping their scorers.

The two top teams in division 3 both won with Lee O`Neill`s two goals heading leaders Boars Head scorers in the 5-2 success over Old England. Second placed Blackpool Lane Ends could not add to the two goals scored in the first five minutes in the game against Mere Park with Joshua Burns and Daniel Garth netting in the 2-0 victory.

Division 4 leaders No. 1 Club won 5-0 against DH Gas with Jordan Trinder getting a pair. Stable Bar beat Blackpool Catholic Colts 4-1 with a double from Shaun Worden. Metrostars defeated Cuban All Stars 6-2 with Stuart Wilson grabbing a hat trick. The battle of the two Waterloos finished 1-1 with Darren Ing scoring for the Pub and Ben Blore replying for Hotspurs. Bottom side Fylde Coast Vets. narrowly lost 4-3 to Xceptional Kitchens.
