Mortgage Shop Blackpool & Fylde Sunday Alliance Report 22 August 2010
In the Premier Division of the Mortgage Shop Blackpool & Fylde Sunday Alliance champions Quilligans dropped their first points of the season when they were held to a 2-2 draw by Blackpool Rangers. After taking an early lead Quilligans dominated the first half with Danny Rowe`s goals giving them a 2-0 lead. Following the break Rangers fought back with a Colin Sullivan free kick and a late Ellis Casson goal giving them a deserved share of the points. Poulton SFC beat Pulcinella`s 7-3 with a hat trick from Darren Hall and a pair from Carl Eastwood. Benjamin Hutley`s goals gave Gardeners Arms a 2-1 win over Fylde Coast Gates.
In the meeting of the Vets teams in Division 1 Bloomfield came out on top against Highbury with Andy Gouck getting the only goal of the game to maintain his sides 100% record. Additions are in second place after winning 4-2 at Great Eccleston with Scott Bradford Josh Dollin Sion Kenyon and Daniel Scott their marksmen. Spindles are level with Additions after a Jordan Beech goal gave them a 1-0 victory over Highfield Social.
No. 4 Rangers made it four wins on the bounce to head Division 2 after defeating Northern Care Res. 4-1 with Dean Chadwick Anthony Haworth Ryan Mann and Chris Walsh on target. Bloomfield Hotel beat Dockers 4-1 with doubles from Daryl Hall and Dani Marr. Real Burlington overcame Layton Institute 6-0 with a Jamie Nay treble and an Andy Harvie pair. Squirrel had a good 6-2 win against Travel Village with Stephen Beattie scoring a hat trick and Adam Silver twice.
At the top of Division 3 Ashiana had a narrow 4-3 win over Kingsfield to stay level with Boars Head who defeated St Annes 6-1 with Lee O`Neill grabbing a hat trick and Craig Harding getting two goals. Wilo hammered Old England 7-1 with Danny Worth`s three goals and a Chris Clapp pair leading their scorers. Hansom Cab earned their first points in the 4-0 success over FC Rangers with Tyrone Melling scoring two. Mere Park maintained their good start with a late goal from skipper Paul Garforth giving them a 1-0 victory against Marshall Court.
No.1 Club kept their 100% record at the top of Division 4 after a narrow 2-1 win over Stable Bar with Todd Russell and Kurtis Trinder on their score sheet. Metrostars also have maximum points after a fine 2-1 victory over Blackpool Catholic Colts with goals from Jack Field and Brad Fothergill. CBFC Choices Furniture defeated Waterloo Hotspurs 4-3 with Sam Ives two goals leading their scorers. Chris Gray netted four goals for DH Gas in the 5-1 win against bottom team Truncheon. Waterloo Pub collected their first points in the 5-1 victory over Fylde Coast Vets.
