Blackpool Wren Rovers FC win the league
![]() | Hot on the heels of winning the Lancashire Shield in recent weeks Blackpool Wren Rovers FC added the West Lancs Premier league title last Wednesday night after beating Haslingden St Mary's FC 4-1. Following yesterday's 2-2 draw at Charnock Richard FC they were awarded the trophy by the league. Here are a couple of pictures from the presentation. Congratulations to them and well done to Poulton Town FC who still have a very good chance of finishing second. Well done to Thornton Cleveleys FC who also gained promotion to the top league after winning Division 1. All three teams contain many players who also participate in the BFSFA on a Sunday. Now it's time for Blackpool FC and Fleetwood Town FC to do the business today and we wish both the best of luck. |
