Mortgage Shop Blackpool and Fylde Sunday Report 04 April 2010

Poulton SFC went top of the Mortgage Shop Blackpool & Fylde Sunday Alliance Premier division after defeating Quilligans 2-0 with goals from Allan Thompson and Darren Hall. They now lead the table by a point from Quilligans who have a game in hand. Hydronics and Devonshire Arms shared the points in a 2-2 draw. In the divisional cup FC Eden went through to the semi finals after beating Blackpool Rangers 3-1 with Mark Cottam scoring twice. 

In division 1 Bloomfield Vets. repeated last weeks 4-1 success against Highbury Vets. with a Richard Horrocks double and other goals from Ashley Walsh and Leon Pritchard with James Hone replying. The Old Town Hall trounced North West Kitchens 10-0 with a Ryan Dunn hat trick and pairs from Peter Clarkson and Jon Marriot leading their scorers. 

In a thrilling top of the table clash in division 2A leaders Great Eccleston equalised in the last minute to draw 4-4  with second placed West Coast Tackle with the Seear brothers Ben and Rick both getting doubles and Ben Strawn bagging three for Eccleston. The Squirrel climbed to third after the 2-0 win at MA2 with Adrian James and Adam Monk on target. L

ayton Institute`s title hopes in division 2B faded after losing 6-1 to second placed Progress Sports. No. 4 Pub won 3-0 at AFC Marton with Mark Meehan (2) and Mark Truby the scorers. Boars Head and Blackpool Catholic Club shared the points in a 4-4 draw with Craig Harding and Daryl Taylor scoring twice for their teams. 

Falcon are favourites for division 3A runners up spot following the 5-3 win over Farmers with Neil Gore and Michael Banks on target twice and Stephen Farquhar netting all the goals for Farmers. Nathan Hine scored 4 for Berrys Beds in the 7-4 victory over St. Annes Ex. with James Isidore getting all the losers goals. FC Rangers won 3-0 at J & S Body Repairs with a pair from Martin Ireland. 

Leaders of division 3B Golden Eagle struggled to beat bottom side The Sun Inn 1-0 with Craig Frankland their marksman. Uncle Toms Cabin lost 1-0 to Ashiana with Phillipson Peltier scoring the goal. FC Edge defeated CB Choice Furniture 4-0 with Scott Gardner getting a pair.
