Mortgage Shop Blackpool and Fylde Sunday Report 28 March 2010

In the Premier division of the Mortgage Shop Blackpool & Fylde Sunday Alliance Poulton SFC missed the chance to go top after losing 3-0 to Devonshire Arms with David Cram Craig Salmon and Philip Dodgson the scorers. Bottom side Wrea Green made it 2 wins on the bounce after beating Pulcinella`s 4-2 with Chris Hibbert bagging 2 goals.

FC Loco division 1 title hopes were dented after a surprise 2-1 defeat by AFC Additions with Scott Bradford and Simon Beavers on target for the winners. At the bottom Northern Care Res. and Paris Casino shared the points in a 1-1 result with Christian Bowey and Peter Harding the marksmen.

A Daniel Ball hat trick kept Great Eccleston division 2A title hopes on track in the 4-2 win against Rossall Tavern. A late Matthew Rainbow double keep Mythop Leisure in contention following the 3-1 victory over FC Brun Grove. At the foot of the table Hampton Road Social drew level with MA2 after beating them 1-0 with Michael Miah the scorer.

Progress Sports and Social regained second spot in division 2B from Fleetwood Kings after defeating them 4-2.Leaders Highfield Social had a good 4-1 win at in form Blackpool Catholic Club. After agreeing to act as their secretary for day Alliance committee man 44 year old Chris Giles starred in goals for the No. 4 Pub in the 9-2 success at Marshall Court with strikers Mark Meehan (3) and Matthew Derby (2) leading their scorers. At the bottom Mere Park recorded a double over AFC Marton and moved above them on goal difference after the 8-0 win with David Dalton Scott Grimes and Anthony Kibbler scoring twice.

Champions of division 3A Real Burlington struggled to beat AFC Ansdell Excelsior 3-2 with Andy Harvie and John Birchall on their score sheet. Falcon went above Teamsport 90 into second place after beating them 4-1. Farmers dropped points after being held 4-4 by FC Newton. J & S Body Repairs defeated St Annes Ex Service 7-2 with a Danny Cowell hat trick and an Andrew Long double. Lane Ends moved off the bottom after a surprise 4-0 victory over Number Four Celtic with Nathan Shelliker netting twice.

Golden Eagle the clear leaders of division 3B won 6-1 against CB Choice Furniture with a Leon Sweeney pair. A Daniel Savage treble helped Ashiana to the 5-1 defeat of Uncle Toms Cabin.
