Leaders of division 1 FC Eden came back from 2 goals down to beat Bloomfield Vets. 5-2 although FC Matrix are only 3 points behind with a game in hand after a Marco Cobb double helped them to a 4-0 victory over The Shovels. FC Loco won 3-1 at Fairhaven to stay in touch with the leaders.
West Coast Tackle with games in hand are serious title contenders in division 2A following the 7-0 defeat of Claremont Cons. with ace scorer Rick Seear getting 6 goals to equal current player/manager Daryl Prance`s record score from nearly 20 years ago. Great Eccleston stay top after a 3-1 win at Rossall Tavern with goals from Danny Ball Joe McMillan and John Coleman. FC Talbot overtook Mythop Leisure to go third after beating them 2-1 with Mark Long and Adam Ormerod scoring.
Highfield Social provided the shock result in division 2B after taking the first points off leaders Fleetwood Kings with Jonathan Fee and Lee McLoughlin getting their goals in the 2-1 win after Paul Zak had given Kings the lead. Progress Sports and Social are second after thrashing Metrostars 10-1 with Ryan Chatterjee and Curt Smith both getting hat tricks.
Fireplace Superstore lost for the second successive week going down 4-2 to the improving Layton Institute with Daniel Butterworth (2) and Mark Ronson and Adam Holland scoring for the winners. Jim McVeigh grabbed a hat trick for Marshall Court in the 6-0 defeat of Mere Park with Craig Simpson celebrating his 100th appearance for the club with a goal.
In division 3A Real Burlington stay top after winning 4-2 against FC Rangers but second place Teamsport 90 were beaten 4-0 by Farmers Arms with Stephen Farquhar getting two goals.
Top scorers of the day Golden Eagle went second in division 3B after defeating FC Newton Castilla 11-0 with Sam Bannister scoring four. Leaders Kingsfield FC suffered a 3-2 defeat at Score Football whilst The Stable Bar went above Ashiana into third spot after beating them 3-1.
