|At Moor Park, Bispham this morning looking in on the two matches that were being played at the venue. Division 3B leaders FC Matrix were hosting Hampton Road Social Club and the Oxford FC were at home to Automedon FC.|
This evening's Division 3B table shows FC Matrix at the top having played 20, won 19, drawn one and lost none. Their latest victory came this morning against long time table toppers Hampton Road Social Club FC. The match was over by half time as Paul Cobb's men raced into a half time lead largely thanks to a fifteen minute hat-trick from Nick Devereaux. They went on to win the game 6-0. On Wednesday night they face Fireplace Superstore FC and a win will secure the title. As for Hampton Social they're now guaranteed to finish in third which is a huge improvement on last season. FC Matrix are in the Juventus kit.

FC Matrix go close from a corner and from the fall-out they create a chance down the right flank that just flies over.
Hampton Social fan Corey had some bad news on his mobile and was therefore in no mood for having his picture taken.

The first goal came on about 20 minutes. Devereaux went around the keeper who got a glove to it but before he was back on his feet Devereaux had retrieved it before sliding it into the far corner. 1-0
FC Matrix manager Paul Cobb can relax a little.
Hampton go close at the other end but the keeper saves well.
Devereaux heads home his second. A peach of a cross from the right was perfect for the unmarked striker to nod home another. 2-0.
A minute later and Devereaux had his hat-trick as he danced around the defenders and slotted it home. Keeper Monty is shell-shocked.
He definitely needed a breather after all that.

At half time the game was over and I was then lured over to Pitch 1 where the Oxford FC were hosting Automedon FC. On arrival it was 2-0 to the Oxford who went on to win this one 4-1. This match was the last of Automedon's 2008/09 campaign and they finished down in eleventh. The Oxford's win kept them in fifth and they still require at least another win to keep them there if they're to hold on to it. The Oxford are in the white.
Laid back enjoying the spring sunshine.

It's half term and the 'Bispham Tuff's' art class has been busy in the holidays on their field trip to Moor Park.
He's there again. Standaloft (Centre) taps it in to make it 4-0.
