A big win for the Dinmore and a club profle for North bank FC

Peter Collins, the league registration secretary at the time, makes his feelings on the 'ridiculously' high fines handed down by the LFA perfectly clear to the Evening Gazette.

Mr Collins was supported by this poor player who had been hit by one of these 'savage' fines.

The Under 18's are unlucky against a Manchester Under 21's side but the open age squad win 2-0.

New job for Frank Olsson at Wren Rovers.

Tony Harrison of Blackpool Mechanics looks to sign for southport.  Tony's brother Steve Harrison was the Blackpool FC full back.  He later went on to assist Graham Taylor at Aston Villa and England.

Melling Shield (1st Division Cup) and Howcroft Cup draws.
